creator privacy notice

Last updated 30 October 2026

This is a working draft. It describes accurately what the product does today and is under legal review. Write to systems@contentiser.com with anything you need confirmed before you rely on it.

This notice is for creators an agency on Contentiser has emailed about a paid brief, or may email. It says what we hold about you, where it came from, why, and how to make us stop. Contentiser is operated by Musket Goose (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa. Its registered office is 14 Parkes Lane, Knysna, 6570, South Africa.

Why you heard from us

An agency using Contentiser picked you for a paid brief: content for one of its clients, for a fee. Contentiser sent the email on the agency's behalf, and your replies go to the agency.

What we hold

From your public creator profile: your handle, name, bio, follower count, category, location and website link, an engagement figure worked out from your recent public posts, the address of the profile and the date we read it.

Your business email address, only where you published it yourself or where a creator data provider supplied it from publicly available sources. It is stored encrypted.

The briefs sent to you, whether you accepted or declined them, and any video you upload.

Where it came from

Your public profile, read without signing in to Instagram, or a creator data provider that collects publicly available creator information. Nothing comes from behind a login.

Why we use it

To find creators who fit an agency's brief and to send you paid offers.

We rely on legitimate interests: agencies need creators, and creators who publish business contact details generally want paid work. We keep that fair by using only what you made public, sending at most one email and one reminder for each brief, and stopping for good the moment you ask.

Who sees it

The agency that picks you sees your name, handle, follower count, engagement, location and niches. Agencies are not shown your email address; if you reply, your reply goes to them.

Our hosting, database, email and file storage providers process it for us. We do not sell it to anyone.

How long we keep it

A profile we read is refreshed or deleted after 30 days. Your email address is cleared 30 days after a brief closes. A video you upload is deleted 90 days after it arrives.

If you ask us to stop, we delete your profile and email address at once. We keep only your handle and a coded copy of your address that cannot be read back, so that no agency on Contentiser contacts you again. The agency keeps a record that it sent a brief to your handle and how that ended.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to how we use it.

The quickest way to stop everything is the "Don't contact me again" link at the bottom of every email: it works at once, for every agency. Otherwise write to systems@contentiser.com.

You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live: the Information Regulator in South Africa, the ICO in the UK, or your national authority in the EU.

Where it is processed

Our providers operate in several countries, which may not include yours. Personal information is transferred under the providers' own contractual protections.

Automated decisions

Contentiser ranks creators for a brief on public facts such as niche, follower range and engagement. A person at the agency decides whom to contact. Nothing is decided about you automatically that has a legal or similar effect on you.
